Andrew “Drew” Reyes – Full Bio
Born November 13, 1974, in Liberia, I, Andrew “Drew” G. Reyes, was adopted when I was just one week old and brought to the United States. I was the youngest of eighteen children from both parents. Growing up, life demanded resilience, sacrifice, and faith — values that shaped everything I’ve become.
My journey in athletics began in Los Angeles, California, where I discovered speed and competition as my calling. I ran in high school, then competed at the collegiate level, and eventually earned the honor of representing Liberia in international track events.

Athletic & Olympic Accomplishments
-
Competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney for Liberia, running in the 4×100 metre relay.
-
Personal best in the 100-meter dash is 10.30 seconds (achieved in 2000).
-
Has held or set national records for Liberia in sprints and relays (including the 4×100 relay) and competed in World Championships.
-
Many years of training under high stakes — balancing recovery, performance, and longevity. It was during those years I saw firsthand how injuries, burnout, and poor movement patterns could derail even the most talented and determined athlete.

How Stretch Therapy Became My Path

During my competitive career, I learned that performance isn’t just what you can push through — it’s how you recover, how you move, how you correct small imbalances before they become injuries. My own body taught me the importance of assisted stretching, mobility, neuromuscular re-education, and active recovery.
These methods—not just training harder but recovering smarter—helped me stay in top shape, avoid major injuries, and extend my performance years. As I transitioned beyond competitive racing, I studied kinesiology and movement science so I could formalize what had saved me many times over.
That experience became the foundation of The Drew Stretch Method™ and KinesiologyRX — a system to help others do the same: move better, heal better, stay injury-free, and build resilient bodies.

Charity, Mentoring & Giving Back

Giving back has always been central to my life. Here are some of the causes and work I’m involved in:
-
Supporting education in Liberia: helping schools built by my family; supplying books and school supplies to children who otherwise wouldn’t have access.
-
Working with youth in the U.S.: organizing sports clinics, sharing my story, mentoring young athletes about overcoming obstacles, setting big goals.
-
Supporting inner-city and underserved communities through outreach in schools and programs.
-
Hosting charity events, such as a 5K run to support breast-cancer research, where all proceeds go to research & helping those affected.

Vision, Values, & What I Stand For
-
Resilience & Growth: From being the youngest of 18, adopted, away from my birth country, to becoming an Olympian — I learned early that your past doesn’t define your future.
-
Service & Purpose: My career isn’t just about me — it’s about helping others unlock potential, heal, and become stronger.
-
Movement & Healing: I believe in movement as medicine. Too many people suffer because they don’t get the right care, or they undervalue recovery. That’s why my methods are science-based, safe, and effective.
-
Integrity & Trust: I commit to doing what’s right — being honest about what I teach, what I promise, and what clients can expect.
